Welcome
On behalf of the nine Chi Psi alumni from seven Alphas who serve as the Board of Directors, I welcome you to the website of the Alumni Corporation of Alpha Omega Delta of Chi Psi! If you are an alumnus of Chi Psi who lives in the Washington, DC area or has an interest in our Alpha at George Mason University, my fellow Board members and I encourage you to browse these pages and to check back from time to time for new information and additional features.
Our primary purpose at this point in time is to provide Chi Psi alumni in the area with information about the relatively new Chi Psi Alpha in our collective backyard the Fairfax, Virginia campus of George Mason University. Founded on November 15, 2003, the Alpha continues to make a difference in the lives of the Brothers (actives and alumni alike), the University, the community and the alumni of other Alphas who are working with them.
Almost all of us are alumni of other Alphas, and we are proud of that heritage. Whether your Alpha was founded 110 years ago (as was my own Epsilon Delta) or in recent decades, what are the chances that we would be Chi Psis today if alumni of other Alphas had not extended a hand in our Alphas early years? The odds are slim. Those of us who have worked as the alumni of Alpha Omega Delta in its early years are helping a new generation of Chi Psis to have the maturing experiences and the good times that we have enjoyed during our Chi Psi days from college to the present.
There are at least 500 Chi Psi alumni within a 50-mile radius of Fairfax. During the coming years, we hope to encourage a few of you each year to join us as we work with the actives to continue to build the lasting legacy of our new Alpha and to establish it as a leading fraternity on the GMU campus and within the community. It is through our mutual commitment that we demonstrate to the current and future actives that Chi Psi truly is a lifetime experience.
